Zurich, Switzerland - A temporary Grossmunster feature
Grossmunster Church is one of the most prominent and most-visited attractions in Zurich. It is nearly 1,000 years old and towers over the city. You can’t miss it.
It has a large labyrinth outside its steps. I was excited to go inside the church and also to walk the labyrinth. Unfortunately, the church is undergoing an absolutely massive renovation project so scaffolding covers much of it, and a construction site has obscured about 90 percent of the labyrinth. I could see a small piece of it jutting out from under a project wall.
Fortunately, a sign on the site advised there is a temporary labyrinth a few blocks away that is serving as the stand-in for the Grossmunster one. The pictures below are of that one, which is in the middle of a small commercial area, just steps from Lake Zurich.
