Edmonds, WA - Circles of green

Some labyrinths don't need much care. Some weeding, or trimming, or shifting bricks or rocks around. And some need quite a bit. The all-grass one here at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Edmonds, Wash., is clearly one that gets a lot of attention. We were told that it was created about 20 years during a Holy Week observance and the church gardener has continued to maintain it by mowing it carefully and regularly. The paths are just wide enough for a small mower. This could have disappeared a long time ago were it not for that kind of diligence. Well done!
