Fayette, AL - First time in Fayette

I've lived and visited Alabama for nearly two decades and had never found my way to Fayette, about a half-hour north of Tuscaloosa. On a summer Saturday, it was very hot, very empty and very quiet. A few blocks from the small downtown in St. Michael's Episcopal Church, which had a lovely peace-inspired garden and a labyrinth as well.
