Riegelsville, PA - The Labyrinth in Peter's Field

There are times when a labyrinth seems to be in the perfect spot. The couple that installed this one in the woods in their backyard are two gentle, kind people, and this stone upon stone pattern is gentle as well. It's a thoughtful place with the stones, shards and fragments taken from different places around the world. Some have interesting stories behind them 0- washed up on a beach in Iceland! from a geologic-project dig in Kansas! - and others are just pretty and eye-catching. I've learned, from meeting people around the world who have constructed labyrinths, that every one has a story. Some are amusing, some are weird, and some are deeply personal and heartfelt. I'm grateful to the hosts, like this couple, for allowing me to visit their personal reflection space.
