Walk (or bike) along the Jordan River Parkway Trail in and around Salt Lake City and you'll get a great sense of the area. Mountains in most directions, a mix of new and older neighborhoods and even the Great Salt Lake. It's a 40-mile-long trail that is popular and a great recreational asset for the area. I of course had a different motive. I was there to find and walk the Jordan River Peace Labyrinth. It had a little trash nearby and could use some sprucing up around the edges, but it was a fine diversion from the trail. The peace pattern in the center had the word 'peace' in far more than the usual mix of languages. I had to Google many of them. Quite a global array!
