Santa Fe, NM - Frenchy's Field

When I visited Frenchy’s Field Park along the Santa Fe River, I was drawn to the community-built seven-circuit classical labyrinth. It’s crafted from earthen “cobb” mounds made of clay-rich soil, straw, and water. It felt handmade. According to a community website, this labyrinth was created back in 1998 as part of an interfaith project. It blends well with the riverside setting and the open field nearby. The weeds throughout didn't bother me and probably added to the appeal of the natural park setting.
