St. Barnabas Episcopal Church on the Desert may literally be a desert area church, but it's far from deserted. The grounds include a memorial garden, a courtyard, a playground, several church facility buildings, and, of course, a labyrinth. The last feature was the most useful for me, featuring a wide seven-circuit stone pattern. There was no shade and it was April in Arizona, but it's a well-maintained, bright space for reflection and meditation.
