The church here is called St. John in the Wilderness Episcopal Church and it lived up to the rustic appeal of its name. Elkhorn, WI is a small town, and I was here as part of another football fall weekend. This time, the game was the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, easily the smallest school game I've attended, but maybe one of the most impressive in terms of accomplishments. UW-Whitewater collects national championships in their small-college level of football. They are a powerhouse that just dominates. Much of this October 2016 visit included Wisconsin staples - beer, cheese, sausages, and the rest of the good stuff.
