Gresham, OR - Purple wonder

At St. Luke the Physician Episcopal Church in Gresham, Oregon, a Portland suburb, I've known about the labyrinth there for awhile. It's the dominant feature on their website. But I was recently told that it had been newly painted and spruced up so I wanted to go out there and see it for myself.

It is indeed nicely restored, with bright color throughout, and it's set in a pleasant walking space, between the church parking lot and some adjacent homes. A memorial rock nearby explains that the labyrinth was created in 2006 to honor physicians who served for that congregation nearly 70 years ago.

There's a sign-in book, some takeaway note cards to think about the walk, and other nice features surrounding it. Really, a terrific labyrinth to come across.
